Born and raised in Orange, Eloise moved to Newcastle in 2013 to pursue her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours). After successful completion, Eloise worked as a rotating Physiotherapist at Belmont, Maitland, Gosford, and John Hunter Hospitals.
In 2018, Eloise was offered an opportunity to complete Male and Female Pelvic Floor Workshops in Newcastle, which provided her a steppingstone into private practice. In 2021, Eloise desired to move ‘back home’, and she has joined the Pinnacle Physiotherapy team.
Eloise is passionate about the management of a variety of female pelvic floor conditions surrounding pelvic pain, continence, pelvic organ prolapse, and pregnancy or post-natal concerns. Eloise is also a strong advocate for promoting men’s health, and provides continence and pelvic floor management, alongside prehabilitation and rehabilitation for men undergoing treatment for prostate cancer. Remaining up to date with the latest in this field, Eloise has just completed a practical management course for men undergoing prostatectomy.
Eloise has also completed Workshops in Female Sexual Pain and Real-Time Ultrasound (RTUS) for the Pelvic Floor. As a result, Eloise utilises both Trans-abdominal and Trans-perineal RTUS for guidance in pelvic floor activation, relaxation, function and dynamic control in both men and women.
With a long-term goal to promote access, awareness and education within pelvic health, Eloise is currently undertaking her Graduate Certificate in Public Health through Deakin University. When she isn’t studying, you can find her on the basketball court, golf course, gardening, or spending time with her family.
Eloise recognises that pelvic health is a difficult topic to discuss, and often these issues go neglected for some time. Eloise’s goal is to breach this ‘stigma’ and empathetically work together to establish a realistic management plan.
